About Rackin stick

This product design came to me 13 years ago after killing an Elk in Colorado, that died in scrub brush. I asked my hunting partner who was an experienced Elk hunter, " how do you skin and quarter this size animal if your alone and nothing to tie off to and support the legs". His response was, " it sucks and it takes a long time". So during my 27 hour drive back home I designed this multi-function hunting tool, and the Rackin stick was born.

The Rackin XL is the newest addition to the Rackin stick product line, made for all hunting situations, from the Eastern and Mid-West Whitetail hunters to the Great plains Mule Deer and Antelope hunters and the Western Elk, Moose, Sheep and Goat hunters. This multi function hunting tool can be used as
a shooting rest, trekking pole, spreader for field dressing, skinning and quartering large game. Weighing in at just under 12 ounces, 21 inch's retracted and 42 inch's fully extended.
Rackin Sticks design and function
The Rackin XL weighs less than 1 pound and and its slim design makes them easy to pack. Whether packing into the back country for Elk and mule deer or hunting the north country for Caribou or moose these multi-tools has the strength and durability to get the job done. The spring tension expandable aluminum tubing is made last and take anything you can through at it. In fact, the original prototype I had made 14 years ago is still in action.
The spring tension design and the innovative attachments makes the Rackin Stick products dependable, highly maneuverable and solid rest for either the rifle, crossbow or pistol hunter. Allowing the hunter to use in the seated or standing position, making the Rackin sticks perfect for the tree stand or mountain hunter.
The solid design, strong aluminum frame and spring strength makes the Rackin XL a valuable tool in the field for either field dressing Whitetail or mule deer. For the Elk hunter or other large deer species hunters who enjoy the the solitude of the solo hunt, the Rackin XL can be one of your most valuable items in your pack! Allowing the hunter to break down the animal with basically a third hand. The spring tension expandable tubing holds the animals hind quarters open, making the skinning and quartering a more manageable and clean process. Especially in warm weather when time is critical to keep the meat from spoilage.
